and located in the heart of Charlotte’s Historic Plaza-Midwood area,
Design Upholstery is a full-service upholstery company performing residential
as well as commercial upholstery. The owner, Michael Polly, has over 35
years experience in this field with a trained, professional staff, ready
to meet your needs.</p>
<p>In addition to basic furniture re-covering, our company specializes in
wall upholstery, headboards, cornices and most any custom order. Whether
it be reproducing a favorite design or creating an original, our master
craftsmen are capable of most anything you can envision. Our company caters
to private individuals, as well as servicing top designers. We pride ourselves
in offering the same quality craftsmanship, whether for individual family
heirlooms, or large commercial orders. </p>
<p>Do not be fooled . . . all upholstery companies are not alike! Design
Upholstery completes all work in-house, while many companies may contract
your furniture to outside laborers. At Design Upholstery, your furniture
and fabric will be maintained in a secure, smoke-free environment. </p>
